At Alan K. Thau SA de CV, we seek your complete satisfaction. Our return policy is aligned with the
Federal Consumer Protection Law of Mexico, known as the LFPC.
1. Limited General Policy
We do not offer exchanges or returns, except as stated in this policy and in accordance with the law.
2. Right of Revocation under the LFPC
You have the right to revoke your purchase within 5 business days following receipt of the product.
The following conditions must be met:
- The product must be returned within 5 business days.
- The piece must be unused, in its original packaging, with tags intact.
- An invoice or proof of purchase must be provided.
3. Return Exceptions
- Personalized pieces, including engravings, sizes, or adjustments.
- Made-to-order products.
- Unique or discontinued pieces.
- Pieces with an estimated delivery time of more than 3 business days.
- Loose diamonds or gemstones, even if incorporated into personalized jewelry.
These pieces cannot be canceled or modified once the order has been confirmed, except where an
applicable warranty applies.
4. Returns Due to Causes Beyond Alan K. Thau SA de CV
If the order cannot be processed due to causes beyond our control, such as lack of stock or force majeure:
- The customer will be notified.
- A full or partial refund will be issued using the same payment method.
5. Products Damaged During Shipping
- Notification must be made within a maximum of 12 hours after delivery.
- Images of the damage must be sent.
- The original packaging must be kept.
Without the original packaging, it will not be possible to process the claim with the shipping carrier.
6. Warranty for Manufacturing Defects

If the defect is confirmed within the warranty period, repair or replacement will be offered at no cost.

Pieces altered by third parties will lose their warranty coverage.
7. Refund Process
- The refund will be issued using the same payment method.
- Estimated time: up to 15 calendar days after validation of the returned product.
- The final accreditation time depends on the financial institution.
